Jolla phone: Which cellular frequency bands are supported?

Jorma V. -

The Jolla phone currently supports the European and Asian GSM frequency bands (that is, ITU region #1 ).

This implies that Jolla can only use the GSM/2G bands in America, and in some rare cases 4G bands.

PLEASE NOTE: Jolla has not been rigorously field tested in other areas besides the ITU 1 region, and therefore we do not promise that devices will work in these regions, eventhough a compatible band would be reported below.

The frequencies listed below are not a promise that your phone will work if your operator uses these bands, except for the ITU1 region.

If you are outside the ITU1 region, and feel that your phone should work in 4G, please consult with your operator.

Jolla supports the following GSM networks:

  • HSUPA Cat6: 5.76Mbps
  • HSPA+ Cat24: 42.2Mbps.
